Junko had reached her goal to climb Mt.Everest and started a group for others to achieve there goals and be exactly like Junko.
Junko started clibing when she was ten years old. On a class trip. Junko needed will power to climb the mountian. It means to me to believe that you can do it and then if you do, then you can climb to the top, and do a very hard thing.
I think she meant that you can't achieve your goal only with technique and ability, but you need will power that comes from yourself. I think that it is very impressive that she started climbing at the age of 10!She meant that she couldn't just climb Mount Everest with skill but with power as well.

I think what the qoute means is to be determined, to finish something and keep trying because eventually you will get it right.Just like Junko Tabei kept on trying to ciimb mountains throught her life.This reminds me of when once I couldn't do something and I kept on trying, and after a little while I was doing it right because I was determined.
I think the qoute means to me that you shoudn't give up on yourself.Just because sombody says you can't do somthing you don't give up. When you try real hard on somthing and you do it for days you get better. Will power is what Junko Tabei needed to climb up that mountain and I guess if she can do it I can do it to. People disagree with you when you can't do somthing but when you try real hard you know you can make it to the top. Will power you cannot buy with money or get it from other people it comes from your heart. When I am playing basketball against other people I feel tired and think in my head I should just give up but then I think I should keep going thats how I keep my will power. For me basketball is an ability I have been playing basketball for years and I am very good at it.
